Guilhem is a partner in the Restructuring & Insolvency team based in Paris.
Guilhem has nearly 30 years’ experience advising on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, as well as Restructuring & Insolvency litigation and advising on distressed investments.
He has been acting on some of the most challenging and high profile transactions and restructurings in the French market. He represents French and international companies and investment funds on crisis management and restructuring. He also represents major companies, their shareholders and creditors.
Guilhem is recognised and highly ranked by the leading French and international legal directories, such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500, as one of the best French lawyers in Restructuring & Insolvency.
Recent work
- Advising commercial banks, as lenders under the EUR 2.051 billion RCF, in connection with the financial restructuring of Casino Group;
- Advising Glas as lenders' agent in the restructuring of Comexposium*;
- Advising EuroPP holders in relation to the restructuring of Pierre & Vacances* through a sauvegarde procedure*;
- Advising Eugène Perma in relation to its insolvency proceedings*;
- Advising Accor and Andera as shareholders of Potel et Chabot in relation to its refinancing and debt restructuring*;
- Advising Mediapro as part of the renegotiation of the 3.5 billion euro broadcasting rights with the French Football League*;
- Advising Ascoval as part of its successive takeovers by British Steel, Olympus, Gupta Group and Saarstahl under insolvency proceedings*.
