Christian is an Associate in our data and technology practice and advises clients on all aspects of data and IT law.
Christian regularly advises multinational and domestic clients on national and international data protection law, technology-driven innovation and digital projects. This includes representing companies in proceedings before regulators and courts. In addition, he has substantial experience in leading internal investigations and regularly supports global M&A transactions involving technology-heavy targets.
Christian has been seconded to a leading German automotive manufacturer twice. Alongside his advisory work, he regularly publishes on legal issues around IT and data protection law.
Christian speaks German and English.

- Advising an international credit scoring agency on implementing a holistic data protection, AI and financial sector law compliance framework.

- Advising leading automotive companies on their global data strategy, various data-driven use cases, the implementation of self-driving car technology in various jurisdictions, international data transfers, data protection contracts and the data protection aspects of connected vehicles and digital services.

- Advising multinational insurance firms on GDPR compliance matters and a series of GDPR-aligned supervisory administrative and fine proceedings.
M&A
- Advising clients on data protection, IT governance and related compliance management in various M&A transactions both on the buy-slide and sell-side.
